End Polio Now Family Quiz

The bar is open!

A fantastic night was had by all in our first End Polio Now Family Quiz Night.

Our knowledge was tested by our Quiz Master and Mistress, Colin and Pauline Bain, which focused on biscuits, Christmas adverts, Polio and things that some of us had never heard of.

Our fully licensed bar was a big hit and it helped to have a cold drink when the round didn’t go as well as you had hoped.

We were supported by two other Rotary clubs which we really appreciate.

The Borner Brains were our lucky winners!

At the end of the night, when the hall had been cleaned and the pennies counted, we realised that we had raised £211.10. With the Gates Foundation trebling any donations it means we have added £633.30 towards ending Polio.
