Visit to Sherington School

Today I had the privilege to visit Sherington C of E School in Buckinghamshire as they started their project to learn about the Philippines and to help us raise money for Learn2Give, our Typhoon Haiyan project. 

I showed the children of Sherington and St. Andrews schools (the two schools have joined together to help us raise money) the video of the typhoon as it swept through Tacloban destroying everything it its wake. The children were attentive and asked me lots of difficult questions. They are all excited to be working on the project which will culminate in a dance performance next term that is based on the Typhoon Haiyan unit of work so kindly donated by Val Sabin Publications.
