We want to work with Primary Schools to help raise the funds needed to rebuild the Philippine Sagkahan Elementary School in Tacloban City, which was almost totally destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. We are looking for UK school children to help the children of the Philippines recover and rebuild their lives after this most devastating typhoon. To assist in this aim we asked Val Sabin, the internationally renowned physical educationalist to produce a related self-contained series of dances for Primary Schools to be taught in lesson time as part of the curriculum. The detailed lesson plans and music enable Reception, Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes to produce their own dances which in combination tell the story of the Typhoon disaster through the language of dance.

“Notivate” has also provided a number of backing tracks to encourage children to be able to compose a song about it. Together this can culminate in the children performing to parents and friends. By staging a performance the extra funds raised will also go to the Rotary fund to rebuild Sagkahan Elementary School.
