One of our Rotarians, Pauline, is also involved in the Towcester Youth Coffee House which had to close due to the building requiring updating and extending to provide suitable facilities for the Youth of Towcester.
Cold Harbour C of E Primary School, Bletchley have set up a lovely Forest School that provides a fantastic learning opportunity, for all aged children, outside of the classroom. This autumn, when the leaves began to fall they realised that there lovely learning environment was not as secure as they would like it to be.
A few months ago we held our 2nd annual comedy night. We raised funds to support Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. The response we received from the Hospice explains why it is so important to help support them.

An opportunity was given to Harry’s Rainbow to have a “Sausage Sizzle” outside the new Bunnings DIY Warehouse in Winter Hill, Milton Keynes where Homebase used to be. The charity reached out to our Rotary Club to help them make the event successful. Read about the event here.
Our second successful comedy night that was put on to help raise money and awareness for Rainbows children's Hospice. The evening raised £1,000. The cheque was presented to Jess Dixon of Rainbows by Steve Howe and John Norton. The picture was taken by our very own Mike Potter.
The Launch of "Potterer" for Northampton Sailability
Utilising the funds raised from our comedy night last year and other fundraising activities along with a matching district grant, the E-Club 1070 has been able to purchase a new boat for Northampton Sailability, based at Pitsford reservoir.
On Monday 27 March 2017 two club members visited the Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. The hospice started in 1994 after a couple lost their child and it now caters for children and young people up to the age of 26 though this is “flexible”.
